Take a Bow broke the run in December 1994. She had another run of 17 consecutive Top 10s from You Must Love Me in Feb 1996 until Me Against The Music in November 2003.

Madonna is also one of the few artists to keep herself off the number one slot – in 1985, when a re-release of her debut chart entry (Holiday, number 6 in January 84) was held at number 2, as the song from the film ‘Desperately Seeking Susan' – Into The Groove – was at number 1.
