In the last episode in this series, Max and Mike attempt to get their heads around the sensitive subject of S.E.X. and technology.

Daughter Cat's latest relationship seems to be mainly conducted via phone and they fear she doesn't realise the risks of sharing intimate images. But a full and frank adult conversation seems beyond Mike who has hang-ups of his own.

Meanwhile, Max attempt to address society's obsession with technology, but makes a clanging faux pas via her local library web seminars.

As the usual family harmony disintegrates - does a celebrated feminist author have the answers they crave?

Maxine Wilson continues to occupy the local library despite the council closing it.

Now it looks like eviction is on the cards!

Daughter Cat can't really see the point of libraries anyway, with the internet, and it becomes clear that Mike doesn't fully grasp what they really mean either.

As things take a turn towards the more confrontational, Mike recruits a veteran activist, much to Max's horror.

Mike Wilson has some key loves in his life - his sourdough starter, his wife and children (obviously), but also the cult rock group of his formative years - The Smiths.

Jangly and heartfelt it's perfect music for the tortured soul; albeit one with a comfortable and privileged life.

Until that is, Cat comes crashing in with her questions. Are some of Morrissey's more recent statements problematic and if so, can we separate the arts from the artist? What else can't we enjoy anymore?

A rummage through his parent's attic suggests LOTS, it turns out. Mike's dilemma contorts him with anxiety as the family pick their way through this new minefield. Can we ‘offset' liking problematic things?

The Wilsons family enjoy nothing more than a good protest march, joining with other like minds and sticking it to ‘the man'.

Today is one they're particularly looking forward to - and each of them has a different agenda.

Cat has a special provocative costume and issue to highlight; Lola has a complex banner but a simple hope that all voices will unify; Max wants the family to stick together and have a great day out and Mike, well he will persist wearing that excruciating jester hat with bells on.

Some tensions seemingly dealt with, they are then in the thick of a march in Central London and find unity more difficult than ever to achieve.

Spurred on by the notoriously anti-environment neighbour ‘BMW Paul' and his apparent saintly U-turn on plastics and waste, Mike lays down a no-plastic challenge to the family which is taken up with competitive relish.

Meanwhile Max's Mum Pauline pays another visit and dishes out a heap of straight-talking common sense in her own inimitable way.

It turns out that the purpose of her visit is to drop another bombshell which sends Max reeling and forces her to confront a number of difficult issues head on.
