In this live Performance on 3, the BBC Singers and David Hill explore some of the sacred repertoire which makes use of these musical resources - including two splendidly exuberant settings of the mass by French composers, Arvo Part's setting of a plainsong hymn, and the first performance of a new piece by BBC Singers' new Associate Composer, Gabriel Jackson.
