Anton began his career as a music photographer when he saw the Dutch musician Herman Brood playing in a café in Groningen around 1975. From the late 1970s the NME featured his work on a regular basis and would often have a photograph by him on the front page. One such occasion was a portrait of David Bowie wearing a loincloth backstage in New York when starring in The Elephant Man. He then got involved with music videos, and with collaborated with a wide range of globally-recognised artists.

Here he talks to Edith about directing Depeche Mode, Nick Cave and Nirvana, as well as making the Ian Curtis biopic Control. He also discusses his latest film A Most Wanted Man, which is based on John le Carré's 2008 novel of the same name.

Christopher is currently one of the most highly regarded film-makers in Hollywood, making a string of commercial hits for the discerning cinema-goer. Having made his directorial debut with Following in 1999, he gained considerable attention for his second feature, Memento. The acclaim of these independent films afforded Christopher the opportunity to make the big-budget thrillers Insomnia and The Prestige. He found further popular and critical success with The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception and most recently Interstellar, which is hotly tipped for success during the awards season. Christopher has co-written several of his films with his brother, Jonathan, and runs the production company Syncopy Inc. with his wife Emma Thomas.

Michel's career as a filmmaker began with the videos he made for the French rock band Oui Oui, for whom he also drummed. These caught the attention of Björk, who asked him to direct the video for her song 'Human Behaviour'. The collaboration proved long-lasting, with Gondry directing a total of eight music videos for her. Other artists who have collaborated with Michel on more than one occasion include Daft Punk, The White Stripes and The Chemical Brothers - all of whom feature in this Screen 6 special.

He is also an award-winning screenwriter and director, scooping an Oscar for Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. His latest film, Mood Indigo, received a UK release earlier this year.
