An exploration of the life and work of the French writer once voted Prince of Poets by his peers - Stephane Mallarme - who died 100 years ago.
Mallarme created a poetry of extraoardinary modernity and formal daring and rubbed shoulders with some of the greatest artists of the era at his legendary cultural salons.
He has inspired painters from Manet to Degas and composers from Debussy to Boulez.
