Eric Sykes - The Radio Years

One of broadcasting's greats - the veteran comic actor Eric Sykes, reflects on his radio work in conversation with Paul Jackson.

Eric recalls the highlights of his wartime career and his early days as a scriptwriter for the incomparable Frankie Howerd, the wooden Archie Andrews and the over-demanding Goon Show.

Featuring a whole episode of THE GOON SHOW The Tales of Montmartre' which Eric co- scripted and which was first heard on the BBC Home Service in 1956.

There's passion and duplicity in Paris through the tangled lives of two talented painters.
