Dithering Heights By Ken Whitmore

**** This programme was suggested by Mandy Poulton as part of BBC Radio 4 Extra's All Request Weekend ****

Theatre impresario Jimmy Trotter is licking his wounds after the failure of the tour of his musical adaptation of Wuthering Heights – which ran out of cash in Keighley and closed in Bingley. Having done a runner, he comes across Thornfield Heights, a deserted old house on the Yorkshire Moors, seven miles from Haworth and an ideal location for his latest dead cert – The Brontë Weekend - aimed at ‘lady culture vultures'.

What he doesn't know is that the remote, supposedly haunted, house is a recently closed-down brothel, which the police have under surveillance. When an unexpected party of women turns up, strange things begin to occur -
