This March, BBC 6 Music is 10-years-old and to mark the occasion a bunch of our musical pals are gathering together for a very special night of live music at London's Southbank Centre on Friday 16 March 2012.
Gideon Coe presents highlights of the kind of live performances you've come to know and love from 6 Music over the past decade.
In the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the innovative and influential Public Image Ltd. perform their first live show of the year. Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys showcases his own peculiar brand of skewed pop, and Anna Calvi is right at home with her magnificent operatic sound.
Beth Jeans Houghton & The Hooves of Destiny also bring their off-kilter grandeur to proceedings, while Blur guitarist Graham Coxon completes the line-up, showcasing tracks from his new album.
Next door, twice Mercury-nominated Laura Marling brings her beautiful, brittle songcraft to the Purcell Room, which also plays host to newcomer Lianne La Havas, who was recently given the nod in the BBC's Sound of 2012 list.
Laura Marling, PiL, Gruff Rhys and Graham Coxon help celebrate 10 years of 6 Music.
