Cellist Alban Gerhardt and Scotland's Steven Osborne join forces for more Britten on Wednesday, while on Thursday the Berlin-based Artemis Quartet bring Schubert's masterpiece 'Death and the Maiden' alongside Bartok and Mozart. On Friday, the Edinburgh-based Hebrides Ensemble offer a new take and particularly Scottish version of The Soldier's Tale with the help of narrator Graham F Valentine.

Today Nicola Benedetti and friends perform two masterworks of chamber music; Brahms' G minor Piano Quartet and Shostakovich Piano Quintet live from the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh.
