There are also highlights from Kenge Kenge Orutu Systems, a band of ex-tax inspectors from Kenya and a truck session from veteran South African mouth-bow player Madosini.
Lucy Duran introduces highlights from last weekend's WOMAD festival, including Malam Mamane Barka playing the biram, a harp from Niger in Central Africa and Uzbekistan's leading traditional singer Munadjat Yulchieva.
