Vincent D'indy (1851 - 1931)

Along with his colleague Charles Bordes, d'Indy formed the Schola Cantorum in PARIS. The school's aim was to reform the practice of sacred music. D'Indy was also involved in over-seeing the re-organisation of the curriculum of the PARIS Conservatoire and the public acclaim he was accorded extended well beyond the borders of FRANCE.
