Vanessa Feltz's Review Of The Year

Vanessa Feltz will look back at an incredible year of news, significant events at BBC Radio 2 and in her own life. Joining her is Rod Stewart who'll relive his superb In Concert performance for Radio 2 earlier in the year. The Great British Bake Off winner, Frances Quinn, drops by, as does Vanessa's Strictly Come Dancing partner, James Jordan - expect behind the scenes gossip and insights!

We'll hear how Radio 2 marked the seventieth anniversary of the Dambusters raid with a special day of programmes which culminated in that amazing Friday Night Is Music Night from Biggin Hill Airport with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Central Band of the RAF.

Sally Boazman and Vanessa will listen again to their efforts in the Radio 2 presenter choir, singing 'Dancing Queen' as part of 2Day - the network's day-long celebration of the orchestra.

Hear again Alison Lapper, the disabled artist and campaigner, who took part in the major Jeremy Vine Show series, What Makes Us Human.

There's the birth of Prince George too. Radio 2 listeners who had a child on the same day as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge discuss what it's like to share the royal birthday.

Vanessa will look at major news stories such as the sharp rise in energy prices.

And we'll broadcast three significant obituaries from 2013: those of Baroness Thatcher, Nelson Mandela and Radio 2's David Jacobs.

Vanessa Feltz reviews 2013 and is joined by Rod Stewart, Frances Quinn and James Jordan.
