`Twice through the Heart' is a dramatic scena written for and performed by mezzo Sally Burgess, is based on poems by Jackie Kay and tells the true story of a woman who stabbed her husband after suffering years of abuse.
`The Country of the Blind' is a chamber opera adapted from the short story by HG Wells with a libretto by Clare Venables.
Performers include Thomas Randle, Regina Nathan and Keel Watson.
