Squaring The Triangle

Journalist Henry Bonsu, born in Britain of Ghanaian parents, has always been proud of his Ashanti heritage. The Ashantis, however, were also among the most active of the tribes to be involved with Europeans in the transatlantic slave trade, capturing slaves in warfare and selling them to white traders. Henry visits Ghana to explore how Africans participated in the trade and asks whether he should feel any shame at his ancestors' activity.
