PRE:Met entertainer Ted Egan in Australia who told Harris 'Two Little Boys' was ""great song"" his mother had sung to him.

At first thought it was ""dreadful, namby-pamby song"" but ""the story got to me"", returned to England with tape of song which he couldn't find, so phoned Egan in Australia and asked him to sing song over telephone.

Record was number one in UK charts, appeared on Top Of The Pops, last number one of 1960s and first of 1970s.

7'40"" in - Wrote and performed song 'Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport' started as ""Australian calypso"", Australian slang in lyrics.

Song has story and ending.
