Shake It All About

Humphrey Carpenter, writer, musician and radio presenter, died in 2005 at the age of 60.

For several years he'd been coping, in his own extraordinary way, with Parkinson's Disease, and had planned to stage a one-man show on the subject called Shake It All About.

It never happened, but instead Radio 4 has put together this tribute, based mainly on a frank and funny interview Humphrey gave, as a way of helping 'fellow-Parkinsonians', for a medical advice website.

If you have been affected by any of the issues raised in the programme and would like to speak to someone about further sources of information and advice, call the Radio 4 Action Line on 0800 044 044.
