The final concert from Santa Fe and introduced by Kerry Frumkin this week features music by Beethoven and Weber.

Beethoven's String Trio in Cm Op 9, No 3 is renowned for its virtuoso string writing and was no doubt composed with the great violinist Ignaz Schuppanzigh in mind; it is coupled by Weber's Clarinet Quintet which also displayed the bravura of a great 19th-century virtuoso, the clarinettist Heinrich Barmann.
