In the spring of 1995, Oliver's latest composition is a success in the Purcell Room, but he seems uncomfortable with the comments that his music does not appeal to a wider audience.
Then he meets the actress Eva, a refugee from the war in Bosnia.
He is immediately attracted to her and asks her to work with him on his new composition inspired by Rilke's poem about Orpheus and Eurydice.
So begins the allegorical journey in which is life parallels his art.
With William Hootkins and Mariana Dodig.
Director Alby James.
