This brand new series on BBC Radio 2 sees Russell Davies interview A-list legends of music, art, comedy and film. The first installment sees Russell interview soul, R&B and jazz singer Natalie Cole.

Natalie grew up into a very musical family. Recording from an early age with her father Nat King Cole, she managed to forge her own solo success in later years with the hit single This Will Be (An Everlasting Love), numerous best-selling albums and Grammy Awards.

She shares her memories with Russell, with music spanning from her early years to her most recent release Natalie Cole En Espanol.

Tim has had huge success in the musical world, from creating iconic shows with Andrew Lloyd Webber, such as Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita, to winning Oscars and Golden Globes for his songs with The Walt Disney Company. He's previously worked with the likes of Elton John and ABBA and has now returned to the West End with From Here To Eternity, his first original musical in over ten years.

Matt made a name for himself in comedy TV shows such as Shooting Stars and Little Britain and has since enjoyed success on the big screen, starring in Hollywood movies Alice In Wonderland and Bridesmaids. His work also includes recording with Alfie Boe and performing in the 25th anniversary concerts of Les Misérables, as well as launching his own hit TV show The Matt Lucas Awards.

Brian began his training at the Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol, and has gone on to star in countless productions, both on stage and screen. His work includes numerous Shakespeare adaptations, films like Flash Gordon and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, as well as West End musicals including Cats and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

From impersonating Pavarotti on Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes to providing one of the voices for the satnav, Brian shares his stories with Russell, alongside music inspired by his career.

Petula's career has spanned an incredible seven decades. Starting her music career from an early age entertaining troops and wartime audiences on the wireless, she went on to release numerous hit singles including the Grammy Award winning Downtown. She has also made a name for herself on the big screen with films such as Finian's Rainbow and Goodbye Mr. Chips, as well as on stage, starring in Blood Brothers and The Sound of Music.

She has also performed in numerous TV dramas and theatre productions throughout her career.
