As a young girl, Katarina nursed the dying Schubert.
On his deathbed he asked to hear Beethoven's C sharp minor String Quartet.
A Quartet duly arrived and played this mysterious music at the foot of his bed.
Schubert died five days later, but for Katarina, the memory of the music lived on.
