201120110911Gary Barlow headlines Radio 2's 'Festival In A Day', a special concert in London's Hyde Park, jam-packed full of live performances.

Hosted by Chris Evans, with guest appearances from other Radio 2 presenters, and live music from Will Young; Lenny Kravitz in his first UK performance in almost three years; James Blunt; Caro Emerald; as well as Jools Holland and Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, with guests Sandie Shaw and Ruby Turner.

Also appearing will be Beverly Knight, The Pierces, and the best folk live experience from eleven-piece big band Bellowhead.

Radio 2's on air coverage kicks off with Jo Whiley at 3 o'clock . Johnnie Walker picks up the baton at 5 o'clock and then Ken Bruce takes over at 7. They'll have exclusive backstage interviews as well as the very best in live music from the stage.

Jo Whiley and Simon Mayo host seven hours of live coverage featuring performances from BBC Sound of 2011 winner Jessie J, British rockers Status Quo, Simply Red frontman Mick Hucknall, London songstress Paloma Faith, Scottish funksters Average White Band and hot new talent Emeli Sand退.

Also confirmed to perform are American country music stars The Band Perry and Norwegian band Katzenjammer.

Last year, over 25,000 music fans packed into London's Hyde Park to hear artists including Chic, Lenny Kravitz, as well as Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.

This year's concert will be available to watch live online, with highlights also available on the BBC Red Button in the following week.

The 'festival in a day' features Tom Jones, Jessie J, Status Quo, Paloma Faith and more.
