That slim volume of poetry, published in Wine Street in Bristol, is renowned for its radical preface and considered to have marked the beginning of the English Romantic movement in literature. Featuring Fleur Adcock, Patience Agbabi, John Burnside, Gillian Clarke, Paul Farley, David Harsent, Kathleen Jamie, Liz Lochhead, Ian McMillan, Andrew Motion, Sean O'Brien, Alice Oswald, Ruth Padel, Don Paterson, Jean Sprackland and Michael Symmons Roberts. The programme was recorded at the Bristol Festival of Ideas which commissioned the work and gathered all the poets together to read their work to an expectant audience. The poets will be introduced by festival director, Andrew Kelly.
