By Stephen Keyworth.
For as long as he can remember Tom has had two dreams: to fall in love with the right girl and live happily ever after; and to make the perfect album - ten perfect songs that take you on a emotional roller-coaster, that stretch, touch, shake and inspire you.
In short, the kind of record that provided Tom with his dreams and made him the man he is today.
When Tom met Charlotte he thought that he had succeeded in one of the two.
He never became a musician, becoming a music teacher instead.
But he had found the right woman, and music sound-tracked his and Charlotte's lives together.
They had their songs, and everything seemed right.
But Tom finds himself single again in his early thirties, without Charlotte and now unable to listen to a music collection which brings back too many memories.
Worse still, he seems to have entirely lost the ability to inspire his pupils.
And then Tom meets Harper.
My Difficult Second Album asks how you can achieve being a romantic success twice over.
