Make Me!

Since leaving Trinidad for Britain in the early 1960s, the journalist and broadcaster Darcus Howe has been deeply interested in politics, but not in voting.

Having failed to vote in the last ten General Elections, Darcus sets out to find somebody - anybody - who can convince him to embrace the electoral process and finally enter the polling booth.

In a series of encounters with people who care passionately about voting but aren't politicians, Darcus questions and explores both his own voting habits and those of the nation as a whole.

It's a challenge - can anybody make Darcus vote?
