The Clash have always attracted famous fans, from Bono to the Manic Street Preachers; but today a new crop of conscious musicians are citing The Clash as one of their major influences, including Lily Allen, Jamie T and the Arctic Monkeys. This documentary looks at the legacy of The Clashfrom their ground-breading fusion of punk and reggae which changed the face of British music, to the iconic status of Joe Strummer which led to heartfelt tributes from the likes of Green Day when he died in 2002, to the present day role of Mick Jones as music producer for The Libertines and Babyshambles.
