The personal story of one refugee's attempts to rebuild her life in the province after the war. Nine months ago Illiriana Kacaniku returned home from a refugee camp in Turkey just weeks after the peace deal had been signed. Her plight was the subject of a Radio 4 programme last year, and this follow-up continues the story of how she is rebuilding her life in a region where ethnic tensions remain as high as ever.

Reporter Emma Rippon returns to Kosovo to talk to Iliriana Kacaniku, the Kosovo Albanian whose story Radio 4 has been following since the war ended. She comes from Mitrovica, a town divided between Serbs and Albanians - and her flat is on the Serb side of town.
