Bearing a swatch of high quality samples from the Baltic at rock bottom prices, he has given the firm his sole agency on a commission only basis. Overnight the firm's fortunes are transformed. Orders pour in from every quarter, wages are raised and, in this heady atmosphere, love blossoms.
