Fifty years ago this week, and three years after they were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit espionage, Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were executed by electric chair, at Sing Sing prison in NEW YORK State, leaving behind their two young sons.

Matt Wells meets one of the sons, Robert, who was six when his parents died, and hears about the way his life has been shaped by this tragic, controversial case, and about growing up in the shadow of an execution.
