Tonight Gideon dusts off concert recordings from Mark E Smith's ever changing line up of The Fall, as well a 1978 set from Midlands based Progressive Rock combo Gentle Giant. BBC Sessions tonight come from US slacker group Drop Nineteens, a 1983 recording from Indie darlings The Three Johns, plus a 1991 John Peel recording from indie-electro pioneers The Shamen.

Gideon has concert tracks from Gentle Giant and The Fall.


Tonight Gideon breaks out concerts from The Penguin Cafe Orchestra and Scotland's Delgados, as well as sessions from Scottish Indie Satirists The Pooh Sticks, an early Happy Monday session, and a rare 1992 Peel recording from US 'art pop' band Unrest. Tonight Gid get his hands on concerts from American art-rockers Sonic Youth recorded in 1998, and Canvey Island boys Dr Feelgood from The Hammersmith Odeon. With a selection of sessions from Sub-pop records group Tad recorded in 1990. A 1998 session from US Post-rock legends Tortoise recorded for John Peel. Bright Eyes are also featured from 2001, with a recording captured for The Evening Session.
