1895: the Marquess of Queensbury, furious with Oscar Wilde for pursuing a relationship with his son, Lord Alfred Douglas, leaves a notorious message at Oscar Wilde's club.

Wilde prosecutes Quennsbury for libel, and when Queensbury retaliates with evidence relating to Wilde's personal life, a witch hunt begins in London's gay community.
