Patrick Kielty is live from Nashville, USA as the city gets ready for the biggest night in country music - the CMA Awards 2015.

He's joined by Grammy Award winning country star Kacey Musgraves to talk about her new album 'Pageant Material', and being nominated for three CMA Awards this year.

Patrick visits one of the most iconic institutions of the city - the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium, the longest running live radio programme in US history. It's the show that made country music famous, with live music from icons and new stars. As it celebrates 90 years of being on the air Patrick makes a guest appearance on stage alongside host Bill Cody.

On his travels Patrick also visits Nashville's new Mayor, Megan Barry, to find out more about the city that's home to country music for fans all over the world. Patrick also drops in to see multi-award winning vocal group Little Big Town and try his hand at some Southern Cooking with Kimberly Schlapman, who hosts her own show on the Cooking Channel.

There's also a very special House Band live in the studio fronted by honky tonk musician Rachael Hester; playing some of the biggest country hits of all time.

And Radio 2's very own Bob Harris will be on hand to give his opinion on this year's CMA Award nominees.

Live from Nashville Bob Harris presents highlights of the 46th Annual CMA Awards which were held in Nashville on Thursday evening.

This year's nominees include Country Music's first couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, International superstar Taylor Swift, and vocal harmony group Little Big Town. Eric Church, whose single Springsteen hit the top of the country charts in June leads the nominations, with nods in the single, song, album, video and Male vocalist categories.

Performers on the night include Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson and Dierks Bentley and Bob Harris presents a round-up of the winners, best performances and backstage interviews.

Plus Bob talks to veteran country star Charley Pride, multi CMA award winner Tim McGraw, CMA co-host Carrie Underwood and Duo and New artist nominees Love and Theft.

This year's nominations are dominated by newcomer Kacey Musgraves and six time CMA winner Taylor Swift who have both received six nominations. As well as nominations in the New Artist and Female vocalist categories, Kacey Musgraves sees her critically acclaimed debut album 'Same Trailer Different Park' appear in the album of the year category, with her talents as a songwriter recognised with two nominations for song of the year. Also up for awards are reigning CMA Female Vocalist Miranda Lambert , Entertainer and Male Vocalist of the Year Blake Shelton and emerging duo Florida Georgia Line, whose recent single 'Cruise 'dominated the charts this summer becoming the longest running country number one of all time. Live from Nashville Bob Harris presents highlights of the 48th Annual CMA Awards which were held in the city on Wednesday evening.

This year's nominations are dominated by reigning CMA female vocalist Miranda Lambert who has nine nominations, matching the record she set in 2010 - the most for any female artist in the history of the CMA Awards. Rising Nashville star Dierks Bentley, who thrilled his UK fans at this year's C2C Festival in London, has five nominations, with other nominees including Kacey Musgraves, Eric Church and Keith Urban. Hosted for the seventh year by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood the awards will include performances from Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town and Blake Shelton.
