Cheers, Deb

A celebration of the work of comedy writer Debbie Barham who died earlier this year at the age of 26.

Debbie Barham was one of the most prolific and consistently funny comedy writers working in radio and television.

Remarkable by any standards, she started her career while still at school, submitting sketches and one-liners to Weekending and the News Huddlines.

By the age of 17 she was living in LONDON and writing full time for the BBC, and for the next eleven years she worked at the top of her profession - scripting jokes for Clive Anderson, Graham Norton and many others.
