An evening of programmes to mark the 600th anniversary of the death of Geoffrey Chaucer.

Richard Coles and guests investigate the medieval background to Chaucer's work and look at his changing place in British and European culture.

The evening includes a series of reports from archeologist Tim Tatton-Brown as he retraces the pilgrim route from LONDON to Canterbury, and music from the Dufay collective.
