Song Prize Final

Fiona Talkington and Catherine Bott present the final of the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Rosenblatt Recital Song Prize 2007, from St David's Hall in Cardiff.

More than a thousand singers applied to take part in the competition, and after rigorous auditions, twenty made it through to the Song Prize.

After singing all week, the final five perform to a jury that includes Brigitte Fassbaender, Hagan Hagegard and Helmut Deutsch.

Petroc Trelawny and Catherine Bott present the spectacular grand final of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2007, live from St David's Hall in Cardiff.

The finalists have battled through auditions and preliminary rounds for a chance to perform with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in front of a jury, which includes Gundula Janowitz and Siegfried Jerusalem.
