Britain's biggest unemployment blackspot is not a former pit village or a dockyard.

It is not in the north, but part of the most thriving city in Europe.

It's the LONDON Borough of Hackney, with 16.4% unemployment.

But how can this be when there are jobs all over the capital? Simon Cox goes back to his old school in Hackney, and to the streets where he grew up to investigate the paradox of mass unemployment in a city full of jobs.
